Let me provide you with an outright guide on how to make money online with the best affiliate programs. You’ll find extensive resources on affiliate marketing. I’ll review and compare all top affiliate programs and rank the best ones. A stop here will give you all the information you need to start making money online.

While more and more companies establishes their businesses and go online, affiliate programs have risen in popularity as an indispensable internet marketing tool. Affiliates get rewarded for directing traffic and potential customer to the company’s website. This is an excellent way to earn some extra cash on your website, as an affiliate.

How you can make BIG MONEY as an Affiliate
Great marketplace at your reach
The internet as a marketplace is huge, and still it lies waiting in your computer. If you can reach just a tiny fraction of the world’s web visitors, you may see life-changing money rolling into your affiliate account.

Nothing but the true!
You’r heading for Scam if you expect automatic success
Don’t quit your day job yet! Not every affiliate business is successful. Making a lot of money is never easy, plenty of hard work is required. Persistency, ambition, maybe a certain talent. Good ideas will help.

But there are some people who live from their affiliate businesses, and some affiliates are extremely successful. The people behind this site have been extremely successful. In this article we’ll show you how to make your affiliate business boom.

What to do
Starting up an affiliate business is very easy:

Build a site, if you don’t already have one.

Sign up with a few profitable affiliate programs that are related to your site.

Link to the affiliate programs from your site using your personal tracting links.

Generate traffic to your site.

Write article or sales letter that make your visitors want to buy the products of the affiliate programs.

If you can do this, your visitors will click on the links and purchase products from the affiliate programs – and the commission goes right into your affiliate account.

How to find the best affiliate programs
Joining affiliate programs is cost-free, and you can rely on me to help you find the programs that are best for your business. We provide you with updated lists of the top affiliate programs in each niche, with their respective advantages.

The most profitable affiliate markets
From experience, the biggest paychecks are delivered to affiliates in the following affiliate markets:

Poker

Mortgage

Education

Among the poker category, some poker sites pay you $300 CPA for each player you recruit. Mortgage firms may pay $75 for every lead, that is, your visitor doesn’t even have to take a loan for you to get paid. Merchants in these areas early realized the gain in paying others to do their marketing. Very high commissions have attracted lots of affiliates, and they have been very successful.

Competition in lucrative niches
If you don’t have a site, you need to decide which niche to work in. Choosing a niche involves several questions, such as which niche offers the biggest potential profits and which area you’re mostly interested in. Some affiliate markets turn over really big money, while others are much smaller. Making big money in a small niche isn’t a given, of course. On the other hand, very lucrative niches come with very hard competition.

Finding the most profitable niche might require pretty deep considerations. Some successful affiliates did put huge efforts into this analysis before even starting up (or buying) their site.

Again, if you plan to start up small or if you already have a site, finding good affiliate programs is easy using our toplists and reviews.

What Makes You Outstanding?
Don’t close your eyes to the importance of personal motivation. When the workload is huge and success comes in very small chunks, working in an area that you care for makes a difference. For most of us, love of money isn’t the prime mover.

MAJOR SUCCESS FACTORS – THINGS YOU MUST DO

Build A Good Site
Your website is your tool. When a people enters a site, you have only a couple of seconds to catch her. The site must be well organized and have the right look and feel in order to make visitors stay and take action.

Make sure that your site leads the visitors to the Buy button without hassle. Invite them to take action (such as making a purchase), and don’t let them off the hook once you have their interest. This is called conversion.
Taking action must be easy!

Create Great Content
Good looks aren’t enough. For your site to generate income, it needs to accomplish two things:

Attract a lot of visitors (traffic)

Make visitors purchase (conversion)

This is primarily done by filling your site with really good content and good usability. It should be relevant for the visitors, and it should encourage them to purchase from your merchants (marketing).

Search Engine Optimization | (SEO) is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via “natural” (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results. Typically, the earlier a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines. This gives a website web presence.

As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work and what people search for. Optimizing a website primarily involves editing its content and HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a broad subject and you have a lot of ground to cover. But don’t worry, whether you’re confused about content linking or what keywords to use, I’ll help you to become the SEO expert you were born to be. Learn everything you need to know through my articles.

ON SITE SEO
The Importance of Keywords
The Best, cheapest and often the most effective way to market your website is through a search engine. So if you don’t have a big advertisement budget, listen! Like any other marketing strategy you primarily have to define your target group. That is your market niche. A group of people that simply might find your website useful. You then have to figure out what kind of keywords to optimize; what key phrases your target group might be using when searching for information on the Internet. If you sell flowers your target group might use keywords such as, hibiscus, roses or bouquet. Ask around, talk to people for suggestions of keywords. Remember, sometimes it can be valuable to implement misspelled key phrases on your web page. This may result in higher ranking in the search engine if somebody types in a keyword incorrectly. E.g folwers instead of flowers.

While contesting for high rankings in the search engine you should always start with what is called ON SITE SEO. When you build your website in a correct and optimized way, you give the search engine the best possible chance of seeing what your site is all about. This is an article in the ON SITE SEO series and focuses mainly on the importance of keywords.

Don’t Do Messy Work
There are several ways to go about when designing your website. And if you’re new to it chances are pretty high that you’ll find a ready -made solution on the web. Stop right there. The importance of a correct and well-written code cannot be stressed enough. The website might look great on the outside, but if the code doesn’t contain all the right information in the proper order it will only make it harder for e.g. Google (Search Engine) to scan it, categorize it and rank it.

The final step is then to implement selected keywords into your webpage content. Next you will find a list of places where you should implement your keywords.

Body text – make sure that the keywords are included in the body text. Though it’s important that they don’t occur too often. The search engine might define the content as spammed, banning your web page, if the keyword appears in every second sentence.

Meta Description and Keywords – this is an important source for the search engine to gather information about your web page. The more time and effort you spend on formulating a good meta description the better. It will not be time lost.

Headers, URL, Title Tag, Alt Tags – do not use the same keyword in all contexts. Your creativity and language skill will be tested, we know! This is vital to avoid being penalized by the search engine.

By figuring out different keywords that people might use when using Google to search the web you’ve come a long way. But keywords are in the end only words. It’s when words form into meaningful sentences, articles, tips and information you can expect increased traffic to you website.

The word Blog was coined out from the term “weblog”, it is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. “Blog” can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of modern blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual, although some focus on art (artlog), photographs (photoblog), sketches (sketchblog), videos (vlog), music (MP3 blog), and audio (podcasting). Micro-blogging is another type of blogging, featuring very short posts.

Sometimes ago I explored how to increase the number of visitors on my blog through CREATING ANTICIPATION. The more people anticipate that they’ll get something of value from your blog in the future the more likely they are to want to come back and subscribe.

The problem is that you can create anticipation on your blog as much as you like without increasing your readership one iota if you don’t also do what I’m going to share with you today.

The Problem of Preaching to the Converted
The mistake that I think many of us make in our blog promotion is that we continue to promote our subscription methods to the same people – those who have already subscribed to it – our regular readers.

We’re preaching to the converted – or to use another analogy we’re mining the same patch of dirt over and over again.

Some Promotion to the Loyal is OK
Now I’m not arguing with this post that you shouldn’t talk about your subscription methods to regular readers or that they should never see your invitations to subscribe (promoting your methods of subscription prominently is an important technique in building RSS subscriber numbers) – however doing it to your regular readers will have a diminishing conversion rate the more you do it.

Perhaps the most public example of this was that of John Chow and Shoemoney’s competition to increase subscriber numbers seemed to largely pitched to their current readers – however I see daily examples of how many bloggers do this (and have done it myself).

Example One – I once followed a blogger who writes a post each week which promotes their subscription methods.

Example Two – I follow another blog that has an invitation to subscribe to his RSS feed actually in the footer of every post on that same RSS feed.

While I do encourage you to post about subscription methods (see point #2 here) – the more you do this the less impact it will have over time. In fact the more you do it the more you run the risk of annoying your regular readers (illustrated by the point that I no longer read the blog in example 1 above).

I guess what I’m saying is that it’s ok to preach to the converted a little (it does work) but your main efforts when it comes to promoting your blog should be happening OFF your blog.

If you really want to grow your blog’s subscriber count, you need to find new potential readers to draw in.

Another Obvious Secret
Yes this is another obvious piece of knowledge – yet it’s something that many of us fail to understand and live out. We continue to dig in the same patch of dirt expecting our blogs to grow.

So How Do You Expose Your Blog to NEW Readers?
Ok – so the ’secret’ is to keep your blog promotion efforts more OFF your blog on readers that you’re yet to connect with rather than those that area already loyal – but how do you do it?

I will say up front that as easy as the principle is in practice it’s a lot harder. Getting word out about your blog to new groups of readers is not easy – however unless you make a concerted effort to get yourself out there your subscriber count will remain slow.

How Would You Promote Your Blog As A Starter
If you will listen to me, I’d tell you to promote your blog in a way that is towards finding a new reader. Let me further break it down with a series of posts – all of which are focused upon this topic of finding NEW readers.

I’m going to cover five areas that I’d focus upon as a new blogger attempting to give my blog a start. I hope you find them useful.

It is a type of advertising in which business owner write short articles related to their respective industry. Each article contains a bio box and byline that include references and contact information for the author’s business. Well-written content articles released for free distribution have the potential of increasing the authoring business’ credibility within its market as well as attracting new clients.

Article Marketing Guide
Article marketing is a great way to promote a product, service, website or blog. The name says it all: article marketing means marketing yourself with articles and it’s easy to do if you know how. Here’s how to create a good article marketing article.

The Title
The title of your article is like magnet that attracts readers, it is for the first time the most important part of it, because that’s what will grab the readers’ attention. The ultimate rule is to tell readers what the article offers and tell them quickly – within the first three or four words if possible.

The Body
The articles written are used on websites and blogs, so follow the rules for writing good web articles. Put the most important information at the top, keep sentences and paragraphs short and make good use of subheadings. And if you promise five tips, make sure that’s what you deliver.

I usually start with a rough plan which outlines my main points and then I expand on each of those points in a single paragraph. I don’t make these too long, as the average article marketing article is between 250 and 500 words long.

The Resource or Bio Box
The resource box is where you get to sell your product or service. It needs to contain your name, the address of your website, your elevator pitch and a call to action. The elevator pitch is a couple of sentences that say what you have to offer. It briefly answers the question ‘what’s in it for the reader?’ The call to action aims to get readers to your site to buy, join, signup or whatever you want them to do.

Other Important Information
Once the article is done, write a summary of between two and five sentences to hook the reader. This may be a repeat of the lead or something completely different that points out what the article has to offer. If you like, include an invitation to the reader to read on. Finally, craft an author bio that shows your expertise and you’re ready to submit your article.

Where to Publish Your Articles
Article Directories abound online, so choice could be an uphill task especially if you’re new. Some of the best ones I’m using are:

EzineArticles

GoArticles

IdeaMarketers

I’ve seen some other article directories that are specific to the niche you want to target, which may be a better option for some people. Once you have written the first article, it’s easy to write more. I have more than 40 articles on EzineArticles and they bring traffic to my site and serve as examples of my writing. Good luck with your article marketing efforts.
